Established in 1946, the Vachel Lindsay Association (VLA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to stimulate interest in the significance of the life, writings, works of art, and ideals of the poet Nicholas Vachel Lindsay. More recently, our mission has been expanded to include assisting whenever possible in the preservation and maintenance of the Vachel Lindsay Home and grounds.
BENEFITS
By becoming a member of the Vachel Lindsay Association, you will get a first glimpse into many of the exciting events and activities being hosted at the Vachel Lindsay Home State Historic Site through the Vachel Lindsay Association Newsletter. In addition, your membership contribution will help us spread Vachel’s “Gospel of Beauty” through educational workshops and arts programming at the beautifully restored Vachel Lindsay Home and through its ever-expanding online companion, the Vachel Lindsay Association website. Your support also helps ensure the preservation of “our” historic home and its artifacts.
